Andrea Malan spent 28 years at Il Sole 24 Ore, Italy’s financial news media group, and has been covering the automotive industry since the early 2000s, with a special interest for business/financial stories. He has been writing for Automotive News Europe since 2017, covering the Italian and Spanish car markets, the Italian business of the Stellantis group, other Italian carmakers such as Ferrari and Lamborghini, the Spanish brands Seat/Cupra and the European business of Asian carmakers such as the Hyundai/Kia group and Mazda.
Since 2021 Malan also has written about the automotive industry for the Italian daily newspaper and website Domani.
He speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and can read German.
